OBR
defines attributes (”meta-data”) for the entirety of the imaging result. (The imaging result payload itself is contained in an OBX segment)
OBR|1|PlacerOrder[EI]|FillerOder[EI]|UniversalServiceIdentifier[CE]
OBR-1 (SetID): Number of the order transmitted (always one in our case)
OBR-3 (FillerOrder) : This is a permanent identifier for an order and its associated observations.
The first three components of field OBR-3 Filler Order Number may also contain the Accession Number if that is the local definition of that field
*<Namespace ID (IS)> ^ <Universal ID (ST)> ^ <Universal ID Type (ID)>*
OBR-4 (Universal Service Identifier) :This field contains the identifier code for the requested observation/test/battery
*<Identifier (ST)> ^ <Text (ST)> ^ <Name of Coding System (ID)> ^ <Alternate Identifier (ST)> ^ <Alternate Text (ST)> ^ <Name of Alternate Coding System (ID)>*
OBR-18 (Placer Field 1) : shall contain the imaging study Accession Number. Note that in the original HL7 2.5.1 semantics for the Procedure Scheduled [RAD-4] transaction the Accession Number is provided in IPC Segment IPC-1, but the IPC Segment is not included in an ORU Message, so the HL7 v2.3.1 interpretation of this field is used.
OBR-25 (Result Status) : “P” for Preliminary Results: A verified early result is available, final results not yet obtained
